The ASME B16.5 Nipoflange (Nippo) is an integral flangeolet that combines a Weld Neck flange hub with a female NPT threaded branch connection. The nipoflange eliminates the need for a separate prefabricated nipple, a socket weld or threaded tee, and a separate flange, resulting in a more compact and cost-effective branch connection with the strength of a Weld Neck hub.
