Overview
While flanges dominate the discussion of forged pressure components, forged fittings are equally critical for small-bore piping (NPS 4 and below). Unlike butt-weld fittings made from pipe, forged fittings are individually forged to near-net shape, providing superior grain flow and mechanical integrity — especially important for high-pressure Class 6000/9000 service and branch connections under cyclic loading.
JIAJI FORGING produces the complete range of forged fittings to ASME B16.11 and MSS SP-97, covering all connection types and pressure classes. This cluster provides the engineering depth that standard catalogs omit:
Weldolet, Sockolet, Threadolet — integrally reinforced forged branch connections. Why they outperform unreinforced stub-in connections.
ASME B16.11 SW: 1/8"-4", Class 2000-9000. Fillet weld design, expansion gap requirement, and avoidance of crevice corrosion.
NPT vs BSP thread standards. Taper thread mechanics, sealant selection, vibration resistance, and Class 2000-6000 pressure limits.
MSS SP-95: concentric vs eccentric transitions. Essential for pump suction piping (eccentric, flat side up/down) and pipe rack elevation changes.
